Web sites attract more traffic when content changes often. With most web sites, you have to call the designer, send them changes and then are charged when the changes are made. Or, you have to learn complicated time-consumming web update procedures involving downloading a page, sifting through HTML code to find what you want to change, make your change, hoping you didn't break the code, and putting the page back on the web server.

There's an easier way...

What if you could update your site yourself, whenever you wanted? When we get together to discuss your design, be sure I talk about my content management system. It lets you update your site from any computer, anytime, anywhere!

How miniCMS works:

When I build and install your site, I create and pre-populate your database with an initial set of content "articles" -- text and pictures you can later edit and replace.

When you wish to change your content, you first browse to the site and log in to miniCMS (We'll tell you how, when your site is activated.) After you log in, the content "articles" for your site are listed. You choose one and click its "Edit" button. The article is "checked out" of your database and flows into an on-screen form on your computer. You edit the parts of the article in the form's blanks, then click "Save". The article is "checked back in" to your database, and immediately appears on your site!

Once you start a miniCMS session, it lasts until you log out, or close your browser, or shut down your computer. Any information or article on your site that is accessible to miniCMS will now have a little "Edit" button near it -- but only you can see the button. To edit that content, just click the edit button, make your changes in the editor form, and "Save". It's that easy!
